Appologies for last weeks postponement - didn't feel like playing with 4 team members against their 11. Thanks to Jon P for standing in and sorting things out while I was pukeing.

 

This coming Saturday see's LRBC FC's third Match in the Southend Churches Cup.

Leigh Road Baptist Vs  Westcliff Baptist Church FC

 

10am for 10.30 KO on Saturday 17th January
***NEW VENUE OF Fairview, Victoria Road, Rayleigh***

 

The cost will be £5 per player please bring on day.

Please let me know if you can or cannot play ASAP - and no later this Wednesday 7th at 12 noon...
Please do reply yes of no either way

 

We are currently top of our group on goal difference - this the game to win against the second best team in the area ;0)

PPS KEEP THE DATE FREE: SCFL Presentation Evening with family and friends invited as well...I hope we can all be there.  The venue is yet to be confirmed but there'll be food, drink and banter a plenty with medals, trophies and cups to be awarded. Therefore keep May 23rd 2009 in the diary.

Sorry if you receive this and you've already said you can't play or I've already spoken to you, but please note, the game this week against Westcliff HAS BEEN CANCELLED. We weren't able to get enough players together to field a team, so we have asked to postpone the fixture until next week. A further e-mail will be sent out when details of this are confirmed.
Please don't go to Rayleigh Fairview this week, or else you will be playing on your own!!

Result: Boxing Day Football: LRBC FC v Love Southend

On a cold, bright Boxing Day morning, players and supporters from LRBC and further afield braved the weather for the annual Boxing Day football match.  After a close first half, LRBC led 2-0 at the break, but went on to win comfortably, 11-1.
