NCFF 2009: Rikki's Salad
Oh the disappointment! A high Calorie Salad for Rikki when we all had lovely pizza.
But Mr Waiter Sir - i though this was a Pizza? "No sir it only comes as a Salad, enjoy!"

LRBCFC won their final game in the group stages this morning 6-0.
This helped them to win their group and go through to the semi-finals. Unfortunately they lost 3-0 in this game to Cosmic United.
Our final game was played against Westcliff Baptist Church FC in a local derby. The final result was 3 - 0 to WBCFC.
A good weekend had by all. Well done lads. Thanks to Alex for organising it all for us and for coming all the way back form Hong Kong for the weekend. Now that's commitment - you enabled 11 lads to have a great and memorable weekend.
Photos to appear here soon.

Hi LRBC FC Supporters
So this weekend sees LRBC FC return to National Christian Football Festival to try and improve on last years 2nd place (we lost on penalities in the final).
The new location of Bristol in place of the previous years Manchester will add a new flavour to proceedings especially if we can't find a Curry mile as in Manchester.
We will do our best to update the scores on this blog over the weekend probably in the evening if you want to follow.
Don't forget to add comments to the posts of encouragement. We would also appreciate your prayers for a great and safe tournament for all teams and for safe travel.
Common LRBC!

Saturday 11 July saw 4 teams:
LRBC FC
Ethnic Minorities (Greg's Team)
Underdogs
Sharp Shooters
Take part in the annual LRBC 5-a-Side Footy Tournament. It was a great mornings superbly organised by Jon Pickford to which we express our thanks. Teams played each other twice in 7 minute long games in the groups stages. The eventual final taking place 15 games later between Ethnic Minorities and the Underdogs. The underdogs being the eventual new champions winning 1-0 in normal time.
More photos will appear on this blog soon - so check back. The photo above shows Paul Smith LRBC member and victor in the winning team telling people why his Christian Faith plays such an important place in his life - whereas the Alan Sheerer couldn't be the saviour of Newcastle last season. Paul and many others in the teams have found that a true saviour that fulfills all His promise is Jesus Christ.
